DJ Slip was first drawn to the scene during the early 90's attending various raves & clubs throughout the U.K plus being a massive follower of pirate radio stations of that era such as Don FM & Flex FM

By the mid 90's he had began collecting vinyl & was bedroom mixing on Numark & Stanton decks learning his craft until around the year 2000

​

Two decades later DJ Slip re-emerged when his love for DnB was reignited & with only his passion for music & an ear for a tune he purchased his very first Pioneer controller & decided to take a chance & put himself out there on the internet in the hope that he could spread some vibes of our beautiful music

​

Starting out his journey with his first ever live show on Facebook (27/02/19) he has now over 3.5k following plus alongside that he also produces monthly mixes which are avaliable to everyone via the Mixcloud platform with a strong support from his crew

 

Alongside various platforms DJ Slip can also be found on Twitch a channel he started there on the (14/09/20) bringing live weekly shows for the last few years with a varied selection of music from Liquid, DnB, Jungle, Old School, Trance & House for all the Monday Moon Crew a safe place for anyone to be either socialising in the chat room or just to relax on the outside enjoying the show

 

He can also be found out & about on rare guest appearances & radio shows plus also being asked for his services by friends & family dj'ing for them on their special occasions

Being mainly an independant solo DJ he is not affilated with any labels & has a reluctancy to follow the herd. He has mostly gained respect from his fan base through his ability to take listeners on a rollercoaster journey of emotions whilst always being true to himself & with the belief that it is all about the music & not about recognition, numbers or financial gain

Of course there has & still continues to be help along the way which include his moderators on Twitch & continued support behind the scenes with media & production which he his truly grateful for (You know who you are!x)

 

DJ Slip continues to work hard putting his passion, time & effort alongside his ear for music into every mix he does keeping the vibe alive & as always something for everyone in the hope that whoever the music touches that it helps them (as it has him) to get through the rollercoaster that is life...
